Best Jerk Chicken in Hamilton. Dropped in with friends and ordered different items and we shared everything. It was very delicious, fresh and aromatic. Will continue to come here because of the food and warm customer service. Highly recommend Island Jerk Hut.

First time trying the food. Was pleasantly satisfied. Food is well cooked and flavourful. Curried Goat is a bit too spicy, but not intolerable. The decor is beautiful and well arranged. Prices are reasonable and affordable. I will definitely be coming back again and bringing my Family and Friends.

I had the oxtail with plantains and rice an peas - Damn this had SOOO much flava - not spicy - just so rich... Loved it - Meat was melt in your mouth. Rice delish - plantains sweet and tender.

I usually get the large jerk chicken with rice and coleslaw. So so good. Best place to get jerk chicken, I've tried the others and there is just something missing. Oxtail is also good. Jerk has just the right amount of heat, it's not overpowering. Ladies at the counter are always friendly.

I will go back This place is a real deal and a must try for takeout as seating very limited. The food is delicious and extremely flavourful. I got the Jerk Chicken (spiciest), curried Chicken (mild spice) and stewed beef (mild). All 3 amazing and I will crave it sooner than later. The rice and peas top notch with deep flavour. The staff were very nice and explained what they had ready to do. Jerk pork and ox tail seem to be ready for dinner hours. Highly recommend and my only complaint is that they are only in Hamilton….. shoot meh!

Excellent (friendly) service and the food was good for the most part. Lovely rice and peas (shelly), Jerk Chicken a bit spicy (not a bad thing), but the Jamaican Brown Stew Chicken needs some work. A bit too sweet.. almost a ketchup undertone.

Walking up to the doors you get an amazing aroma coming from the business. Staff were great. Ordered the jerk chicken and the flavor and spices were fantastic. Great spot to try if you haven't.

Ordered a large jerk chicken. It might because I'm pale as a ghost but the spiciness was way more than any jerk I've had. And I've had jerk in Jamaica. Not saying it's a bad thing but it kicked my butt and my wife couldn't eat it. The rice and peas(beans) tasted amazing though and gravy on the side was also really good. The restaurant itself was boiling hot. Maybe going for that authentic Carribean feel? Would go again. Prices were higher than the pictures online so I took new ones.
